Michael Gallup; WR of Dallas Cowboys was given time away from team after brother’s suicide

Michael Gallup; the wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys has been given some time away from the team after he learned about his brother’s suicide on Sunday morning. The news has been officially announced by the team.

Gallup who is a native of Atlanta was traveling with the team and made it back home after beating Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.

Jerry Jones; Cowboys’ owner said to media, “our team and the entire organization is deeply saddened by the news of Michael’s loss. His family is our family. We also share the pain and grief that comes with this tragic news. We offer our support to Michael and his family and we also ask all our fans to keep Michael and his family in their thoughts and prayers.”

Gallup who is a  third-round rookie pickup of 2018’s NFL draft has made 16 catches for 285 yards along with 1 TD in is past ten games this season.

Cowboys are next to face Washington Redskins on their home turf and currently, the head coach Jason Garrett is unsure of Gallup’s status for this game.
