The sign got much attention and soon it was caught in the eye of another Penguins fan named Jeff Lynd; a 35 years old man living in Delaware.

He agreed to donate his kidney and was also a match for Kelly Sowatsky and the transplant finally took place on November 6th, 2018 at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Both donor and receiver are fine. The kidney which dropped to 9 percent in working capacity during operation is also now working at 99 percent.
