Tristan Thompson; the starting Centre for the Loveland is out for a month due to his sprained left foot

Tristan Thompson’s strong season at Cleveland Cavaliers might have stalled a bit.

The starting center player for the Cleveland Cavaliers this season is possibly going to miss one month of the season due to his left sprained foot. He suffered from this injury on team’s Monday night defeat against Milwaukee Bucks by 108-92.

Thompson who has been playing like an All-Star level player is one of the few bright hopes for the struggling Cavs this season. Cavs are already missing their star forward player Kevin Love.

Thompson got this injury in the third quarter when he accidentally landed on the foot of Bucks’ guard Malcolm Brogdon’s foot and twisted his own foot. Thompson at first tried to stay into the game but he later signaled the bench to take him out of the court. Once gone he never made it back to the court on Monday night.

Thompson did not felt the injury to be quite serious. On Tuesday he underwent some tests and they came out positive with a sprain. Cavs confirmed that he will be out for a minimum of two weeks.

Eight-year pro was in the best season of his career as he averages in 12 points and his career-high an average of 11.6 rebounds this season in his 27 games.

With this injury, Coach Larry Dew of the Cavs might have to make another lineup change. The most likely next center player would be Larry Nance Jr.

Cleveland Cavaliers are going to host a game against New York Knicks on Wednesday night.
