World Series Game 4; Boston Red Sox defeat LA Dodgers

On the Saturday night Game 4 of the World Series, Boston Red Sox came out victorious against the LA Dodgers. They managed to win the lead by 30-1 late in the game and now they are only one win away from winning the World Series.

One day after the longest game in the World Series history, Red Sox have now once again came close to their ninth title with a win of 9-6 at the Dodgers Stadium.

Dodgers were hoping to level the series with Yasiel Puig’s three home runs during the sixth innings which would have left Red Sox with a deficit of 4-0 in the seventh.

Unfortunately for Dodgers, the Red Sox pitcher Mitch Moreland managed to make his own three home runs in the seventh innings that allowed Red Sox to make a comeback. After him came the Red Sox’s Steve Pearce who made his one home run to level the score at 4-4.

The last five runs for Red Sox came in the ninth innings as Pearce added in thee run double, Rafael Devers making a go-ahead single and Xander Bogaerts adding another single.

Game 5 of the World Series is set to happen at the Dodgers Stadium on Sunday night. If Red Sox win this game then they will be able to secure their fourth World Series title in the past 15 years.
