Durant’s double-double allows Warriors to go past Nets by 116-100

Quinn Cook had been a great support for the Warriors last season when Stephen Curry was out dealing with his knee and ankle injuries. Now Cook is again helping the Warriors as the two times NBA MVP is sidelined for this season again.

Kevin Durant has lately been shining with Warriors as he showed that he can too, be a good imitation of Curry.

Durant scored 28 points along with 11 assists and as for Cook, he scored his season high 27 points to allow the Warriors to win the Saturday night game against Brooklyn Nets by 116-100.

Durant told media, “I just feel that Quinn thinks he is always ready no matter what happens. When his number is called, he is able to go out there and perform as well as he can that’s because he puts all his work into the game every day. It is no surprise to me that he can do this.”

Two days ago, Curry had to leave the season after suffering from a groin injury in the home game against Milwaukee Bucks that ended in the loss. However, the defending champions were able to bounce back with Cook as their star player watched the game from his home.
