AEW All Out 2026 delivered new tag team champions, a successful world title defence and one genuinely scary moment on Saturday night at the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, outside Chicago. Will Ospreay kept the AEW World Championship by beating Jon Moxley in a 33-minute main event, the Young Bucks won the AEW World Tag Team Championship in a three-way ladder match, and Steven Borden was taken to hospital after a head injury stopped his match.
Steven Borden injury: what happened
Borden, the son of Sting, teamed with Darby Allin against Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight in a No. 1 contender match. Borden and Knight leapt from opposite turnbuckles and collided in mid-air, and Borden landed with the back of his head hitting the mat. Ringside physician Dr. Michael Sampson stopped the match, which went down as a win for Knight and Fletcher, and POST Wrestling confirmed the stoppage was real and not part of a storyline.
The news since has been encouraging. AEW, through Tony Schiavone, said Borden was conscious and responsive when he reached hospital. Tony Khan later told the post-show media scrum that Borden was awake, that a CT scan and his other tests had come back good, and that AEW hoped he could fly home to his family on Sunday.

- AEW World Championship: Will Ospreay (c) def. Jon Moxley. Ospreay won with the Hidden Blade and the Storm Breaker, and Moxley handed him the belt afterwards as a mark of respect.
- AEW World Tag Team Championship ladder match: The Young Bucks def. FTR and Adam Copeland and Christian Cage. Matt and Nick Jackson pulled the belts down to become champions for a fourth time.
- Women’s World Championship No. 1 contender match: Thekla def. Willow Nightingale.
- AEW World Trios Championship: Swerve Strickland and New Level (c) def. Hangman Page, Bandido and Brody King.
- AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship, Chicago Street Fight: The Brawling Birds (c) def. Divine Dominion, with thumbtacks playing a part in the finish.
- AEW International Championship: Kazuchika Okada (c) def. Tommaso Ciampa with the Rainmaker.
- AEW TBS Championship: Persephone (c) def. Dani Luna.
- No. 1 contender match: Kevin Knight and Kyle Fletcher def. Darby Allin and Steven Borden (doctor stoppage).
- AEW National Championship: Andrade El Idolo (c) def. PAC, pinning him while caught in the Brutalizer.
On the Tailgate Brawl pre-show, Katsuyori Shibata beat Jack Perry, the Sisters of Sin beat Mina Shirakawa and Queen Aminata, and the Bang Bang Gang won an eight-man tag against The Dogs and the Death Riders.
What’s next for AEW
Ospreay has now seen off Moxley, so the question is who steps up next for the world title. Thekla now has a shot at the Women’s World Championship, and the Young Bucks’ title win puts a target on them from both FTR and Copeland and Cage. Borden’s condition is the most important update, and we’ll follow it closely.
