The DP World Tour announced its 2027 global schedule on Wednesday, September 16, a 42-tournament season spanning 24 countries that has been reshaped around the 2027 Ryder Cup at Adare Manor in Ireland from September 17-19.
The biggest change sees the BMW PGA Championship, the Tour’s flagship event, move from its traditional early-September slot to September 23-26 at Wentworth Club in Surrey, the week immediately after the Ryder Cup. The Amgen Irish Open shifts to July 1-4 at The K Club in Co. Kildare, the week before the Genesis Scottish Open (July 8-11), while the FedEx Open de France at Le Golf National takes the September 9-12 date the week before the Ryder Cup.
Two historic national Opens return to the schedule as co-sanctioned events with the Asian Tour. The Deutsche Bank Singapore Open, first played in 1961, is back on the DP World Tour for the first time in 14 years and will be held at Sentosa Golf Club’s Serapong course from April 15-18. The Hong Kong Open returns to Hong Kong Golf Club from October 21-24. The Open de Portugal, staged at Oitavos Dunes in Cascais from May 13-16, features for the first time since 2020.
The season opens with the Team Cup from January 15-17, followed by the Hero Dubai Desert Classic (January 21-24), and closes with the Abu Dhabi Championship (November 4-7) and the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai from November 11-14.
“The return of historic national Opens in Singapore and Portugal means 17 prestigious national Opens will feature on our 2027 global schedule,” said DP World Tour chief executive Guy Kinnings.
